1.25.10 What a Fantastic Day at UCA!
We are so proud of the performances from all of our teams at the UCA Midwest Championship in Peoria on January 24th, as well as the great sportsmanship
shown by our athletes and parents!  The Kittens did great and walked away with their first 1st place win of the year.  The Cubs had a strong routine, but struggled a
little bit in the pyramid, but still kept it up and finished with a strong dance.  The Jungle Cats had a good routine overall and we a lot of fun to watch.  They had the
highest score of all Level 2 teams in the competition, so they got to bring home the Division Champion banner!  The Fierce Cats did well hitting all of their tumbling
and their pyramid was the best it has been all year.  They as well brought home a Division Champion banner, with the highest score of all Level 3 teams.  Pride hit
all of their stunts and improved their overall timing from the last competition.  The Advocates performed a crowd pleasing performance as always!  Everyone looked
awesome!  Here are the results -

Kittens - 1st place
Cubs - 5th place
Jungle Cats - 1st place and Level 2 Overall Division Champion (Highest Score of all L2 teams)
Fierce Cats - 1st place and Level 3 Overall Division Champion (Highest Score of all L3 teams)
Pride - 2nd place
Advocates - 1st place

1.11.10 Lions Looked Awesome at Xtreme Spirit!
There is no doubt that our teams put forth their best performances of the season at Xtreme Spirit's GO BIG National Championship in Peoria, IL on January 10th!
From our 4 year olds to our 40 year olds, it was a great day for the Lions!  The Kittens and Cubs have improved in leaps and bounds since their debut competition
less than a month an a half ago, and it really showed!  The Jungle Cats looked very confident and have been working hard to make their routine look cleaner.  The
Fierce Cats did a great job hitting their stunts and were very excited about their first win of the season.  While most people thought Pride should have finished on top
of their division, we are proud of how they did and know they can continue to work hard to get even better.  The Advocates Special Needs team made their debut and
did very well, as they are always a thrill to watch because of their joy of performing.  The Mom's Squad is at it again this year and they definitely rocked it out in their
debut performance!

Kittens - 2nd place
Cubs - 1st place - NATIONAL CHAMPIONS & Paid Bid to Xtreme Spirit's International Championship
Jungle Cats - 2nd place
Fierce Cats - 1st place - NATIONAL CHAMPIONS & Paid Bid to Xtreme Spirit's International Championship
Pride - 2nd place
Advocates - 1st place
Mom's Squad - Great exhibition performance!

12.5.09 What a Great Day at CSG!
All of our teams performed very well at the CSG Holiday Classic in Elgin, IL on December 5th!  Here are the results:

Kittens - 2nd place
Cubs - 2nd place (out of 12 teams!)
Jungle Cats - 2nd place
Fierce Cats - 2nd place
Pride - 1st place

11.21.09 Great Job at Turbo Jam!
The Jamfest Turbo Jam was the first competition of the year for our Kittens and Cubs and they did great!  Of course, still some improvements to be made, but with
many athletes out there for the first time, we were very proud of them.  The Jungle Cats had a great routine, but got set back in the standings due to uncharacteristic
falls in the pyramid, but still managed to finish 4th in a division with 16 teams!  The Fierce Cats continue to improve and the judges are recognizing that they are a
very talented team, but that there are just a few things to be cleaned up.  Pride had a good routine and was able to finish strong with their pyramid and dance!
Overall, all teams in our program did great!  Once everyone hits a clean routine with no deductions, our scores will sky rocket!  Here are the results -

Kittens - 3rd place
Cubs - 8th place
Jungle Cats - 4th place
Fierce Cats - 4th place
Pride - 2nd place
