4.26.08 Missed Evaluations?
If you missed evaluations, but would still like to be a part of our program for the 2008-2009 season, you can set up a private evaluation and then be placed on the
team best suited for you. There are currently a few spots left on some of our teams. We have teams available to girls and boys ages 4 through 18. Contact Head
Coach Jen Nettleton to set up an evaluation as soon as possible by emailing VictoryAcademyLions@hotmail.com or calling the gym at 309-662-4927. We look
forward to hearing from you soon!
5.9.08 Extreme Game Performance & Fundraiser
Those interested in selling Extreme Game tickets as a fundraiser can print off order forms here. Payments must be turned in with your order sheets by May 31st.
The person ordering can fill in credit card information on the form, pay cash, or pay by check made out to Victory Academy. Tickets are $16 each, and you will
receive $4 back per ticket to put towards your July tuition. For the performance, our girls will most likely be put in Section 115. All tickets sold for the fundraiser will
be put in this section or Section 114. For the game, team members will get free tickets, but parents will have to pay. You may order your tickets on this form or buy
them at the Coliseum. All team members under 10 should have an adult responsible for them. All tickets ordered ahead and turned in by the 31st will be
available for pickup at the Coliseum box office by Thursday, June 6th under the name of the person who ordered them.
5.9.08 New Referral Discount
Now through May 31st, we have raised the referral discount to $50! We want to fill up our teams by the end of the month, so if you bring in a new person that signs
up for Lions, you will get $50 off your June tuition. We still have many spots available between all the teams, so keep recruiting. You can recruit for any of the
teams, not just your own child's team. You may print off this general information flyer to give to prospective members. If you know anyone that would like to watch
a practice or participate in one before making the decision, let me know.

4.29.08 Uniform Fitting Day

you must come at your designated time. Minis will be first at 9:30, followed by Youth at 9:45. Juniors will start at 10:15, Senior Black at 10:30, and Senior Blue at
11:00. If you would like to sell a used uniform or warm-up, please label each piece with your name and bring it in before 9:00am on Saturday. Those wishing to
purchase used pieces need to arrive on Saturday at 9:00am. They will be paid that day to the family you purchase them from. Mini team members will not be able
to purchase used pieces, as their uniform will be new this season, however they may purchase used warm-ups.
4.29.08 Flip-Flop Shop
We will be holding a Flip-Flop Shop on Friday, May 16th from 5:00-6:00pm. This workshop is for those working to get their flip-flop or those looking to improve
their current flip-flop. Lions team members have first priority to register by May 9th and registration will open to the public after that. There are limited spots
available. The cost is $15 if you register by May 15th and $20 on the day of the workshop. You may register and pay at the front desk at the gym.
4.20.08 NEW All-Inclusive Monthly Tuition
For the 2008-2009 season, we will be starting an all-inclusive monthly payment plan to make financial planning and budgeting much easier for our families. Each
team will have a set all-inclusive monthly tuition amount that includes gym tuition, competition entry fees, coaches fees for competitions, summer team
camp/activities, choreography/music, and spirit fee. Items that are not included are uniforms, make-up, practice clothes, travel expenses, punch cards, and
annual membership fee. A breakdown of each fee that is covered will be provided, so you can see exactly where your payments are going. We will provide a
breakdown first based on last year’s expenses, and then once the competition schedule is finalized, we will provide an updated breakdown. If a team falls out of
the range (too high or too low) they pay for, then we may either give refunds or ask for additional funds to cover the difference in expenses. In the case of a refund,
checks would be issued AFTER the conclusion of the last competition. For more information, see the updated Lions Handbook.
3.18.08 Xtreme Spirit Nationals Results
Our final competition of the season was held at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells and our teams did absolutely amazing! Everyone
has worked so hard all year long and it showed in a big way on the floor this past weekend. Looking back to the first competition until now, our teams have
improved so much and we are so proud of them! Youth Silver once again dominated their competition, and won their division! They hit two great routines and
after being ranked in a very close 2nd place after day one, they performed a great routine on day two to clinch the National Championship! Youth Black did an
great job competing at Level 4 for the first time and also won their division! With putting level 4 skills in just two weeks before the competition, they rocked it out
and did such a great job. Our Juniors performed two awesome routines and finished in 2nd place! With some tough competition, they did excellent out there and
we are so proud of them! It was an emotional weekend for our Senior team, as it marked the final performances for our five graduating seniors. They had two
strong routines and showed great poise and heart on the floor. It was a great send off for our graduating seniors winning the National Title! We hope that
everyone enjoyed the final competition and we are so pleased with the strides all of our teams have made this season. We once again had an even better year
than the one before! Thank you so much to all our athletes and families for a fantastic year! We can't wait to get started on a new great season!
